And to keep this post fashion or beauty related I'm posting a photo of a makeup look I did for a night out in NYC. When you order Mac pigment samples from The Body Needs they include a free sample of Neon 60's pigment which is a hot pink glitter. At first I was thinking "what in the world am I gonna do with this?" but I happened to bring it to my friend Sally's house (and she's the glitter queen I might add) and she had me use it as a highlight above my brown bone. In a dark club the glitter shines just right and I absolutely love it.

Kiss it or Diss It? Solange's Blue Streak

Everyone know Solange tries extra hard to have an unusual style and most of the time its a miss :/  .  She was spotting rocking this look leaving NBC studios. The outfit is cute and the blue streak of shadow across her eyes is surprisingly stylish. Matches her blue Chanel bag and heels. I actually like this look? What do you guys think?

What Im Coveting: Coach Sierra knockoff by Steve Madden

I walked into the Coach store here in Atlantic City recently and instantly fell in love with the Sierra sandal. I was happy to hear they were currently having a sale on shoes the day I came in, but unfortunately the Sierra sandal was one of the few styles not included (womp womp). So I've been debating back and forth on whether I should suck it up and spend the $188 for the originals or search for a comparable knockoff. I ran across a pretty good knockoff by Steve Madden at a recessioniasta friendly price of $69.99. In the event I can't find a discounted pair of Sierra's on Ebay in my size I may have to hit these up. They arent as luxe as the Coach originals but they'll get the job done on a budget.

Juicy Couture Haul

I had an out of state friend that wanted to go to the casino to gamble and some kind of way I wandered into the Pier mall at Ceasars Casino. I made a beeline to the Juicy Couture store since they are one of my favorite brands. I love how young and slightly gaudy their accessories are. Being the responsible and frugal fashionista that I am I immediately proceeded to the sale items. The Daydreamer tote was originally $228 and on sale for $150. With the additional 25% off sale items it came out to be $113. I also picked up a wallet and a mini roll on of Viva La Juicy perfume. I was being super smart about that decision since I had been coveting the scent for a while but have a million bottles of perfumes that will never be finished and didnt want to add to the mayham. Since I'm still destined to use this ancient laptop no pics..but I posted a stock photo of the bag.

Yes I get a big fat"F" for not keeping up with this blog. I am officially back! If I slack off again I give everyone permission to send me angry messages!lol

In fashion news I made my first Gilt Group purchase which was a pair of Habitual Cinch Skinny jeans in Ash grey. If you are not a member of Gilt Group message me for an invite! They have designer labels at sample sale prices. The jeans were normally over $100 and on sale for $48. I then had a $25 credit so a practically got them for nothing! And they are hella cute.

Next on my list of shopping conqeusts is a sale over at 6PM.com. Kors by Michael Kors shoes are on sale for $39.95 making most of them around 80% off! How can I resist! They also have JLo shoes on sale.
