I came up with this idea from a post at kisforkinky. I'm one of those people that have jewelry all over the house. In the bathroom, the living room, dresser, drawers and you can pretty much find some form of jewelry in every crevice in the house. I'm on a mission to become more organized and hold all my pieces in one concentrated place. I went outside, grabbed this branch and secured it to the wall. For this to work you're branch has to have lots of offshoots so you'll have things to hang the jewelry on. It also helps that it has lots of little nubs to stop the jewelry from sliding. You can also spray paint it whatever color you want but since I was lazy I grabbed a Sharpie and started coloring. I only got halfway through before the marker ran out so its only halfway colored *kanye shrug*. Still looks good though!
I also added a couple of nails in the wall to hold my heavy necklaces. This is best for lightweight items and perfect for earrings. And to actually secure it I used a combination of those metal hooks (stick the branch inside it) and nails (lean the branch against it. Total there are 3 points holding it to the wall. Add as many as you need to keep it from being wobbly (and crashing to the floor).
