Being the total girlie girl that I am, Cosmopolitan is one of my staple mags. Cosmo was my first intro into total fashion addiction being that I used to sneak it out of my moms purse and read it when I was a teen. So in my quest to stay fab I decided to step up my makeup game. My skin is super clear so I don't need foundation or concealer but I'm super jealous of all the beautiful FOTD's I see everyone doing! Unfortunately my skills need a lot of work....I have a small stash of shadows, quads, liners, mascara and even some bronzers and highlighters but no idea how to use them. I usually end up swiping one color across my lid and calling it a day. I think I just like collecting the pretty colors!
Luckily Cosmo has sent me a copy of ther new beauty how to book "Cosmo's Sexiest Beauty Secrets". I usually skip pass how to books because they contain regugetated information that I already know but I must say...I read Cosmo's book from cover to cover and it truly is a Godsend. The tips listed in this beauty bible get straight to the point and are easy enough for newbies to follow. It's broken up into categories titled secrets to "Gorgeous Skin", "Flawless Face", "Mesmerizing Eyes", "Alluring lips","Amzing Hair", "A Sexy Body", "Seductive Scent", "Perfect Nails", "Spoiling Youself" and a special bonus section. And the book is convenient enough to take into the bathroom with you. I won't' divulge too many secrets but it tells you how to save a horrid hairstyle, achieve the perfectly flattering brow arch, DIY spa treatments and most importantly how to put to use the right colors in your makeup quad. The book is normally $19.99 but it is currently on Amazon for $12.55 with only a few in stock. Don't know how much longer that sale will last!!
And what do ya know I have an extra copy! I'll be doing a random drawing and sending this book to a lucky reader. To enter the drawing you just need to post 5 comments on any 5 posts on this blog between today and next Saturday.
Probably the most cherished idea in existence is friendship. By far the most important issue involving us is understanding.

I would love to read this book. I have one titled "Beauty Of Color" by Aman, and that is a great book too.
